Elucidating the scriptures for you 

Here is an example. The prophet Zephaniah depicts God as a “warrior who brings victory” (3:17). This might not seem very noteworthy to you, but in the original Hebrew the phrase is gibor yoshiah, which literally means a “warrior who will save”. The word yoshiah is the authentic name of Jesus, Yeshua, which means “God saves.” By reading the Hebrew Scriptures in the original, you can truly see how the ancient prophets subtly foretold the arrival of Jesus.
